David Ginn
David Ginn presented a wonderful lecture last night entitled "Christmas Magic Down Under" with everything contained within his Christmas Magic Workbook provided. David presented a variety of tricks with a Christmas theme, backing music and his southern american presentation style.
He reminded us that people are already happy at Christmas time and our job is to make them happier.
David Ginn is a great bloke with a genuine love for people and I thank him for coming to Adelaide and sharing his knowledge and humour with us.

Melbourne Convention 2007
Shawn Farquhar - brilliant, nice guy, top performer
Lennart Green - very good, funny guy, I'm not a card guy..
Eugene Burger - interesting, not friendly, aloof, but made good sense
Public Show - fantastic, some weak moments from the vics, but everything else was awesome
Jeff McBride - OK, I just can't take someone with a batman utility belt seriously but I agreed with everything he said
Gaetan Bloom - amazing, a really nice guy, very helpful, the best lecture of the weekend
Shoot Ogawa - very entertaining, wouldn't use any of his stuff but I did pick up a move with the linking rings, nice guy though
Dean Atkinson - who you are is so loud I can't hear what you are saying
7 lectures, 51 performers, 107 acts, 200 extra card tricks, 11 mystery dealers which we found eventually, overall a fantastic weekend of magic
The main venue was excellent although big city conferences are always spread out so moving people about is always a challenge and this affected the timetable significantly, pity I missed out on things because of this.

Magic Museum San Diego
Jack White's Magic Museum is a wonderful place, well used by magicians and full of exciting magic from bygone eras. Thanks to Jack who conducted a fantastic tour of his museum and the many items he has collected over the years.
Here I am holding the original prototype of the Chop Cup made by Al Wheatley aka "Chop Chop".
